VTP pumps are offered with a wide variety of configurations, constructions, and materials to suit application requirements. These options include:

  • Open or enclosed lineshaft construction
  • Enclosed or semi-open impellers that are collet mounted or keyed
  • Impeller wear rings can be enclosed or bowl
  • Discharge heads are made of cast iron or fabricated steel

Sealing configurations availablefor open lineshaft construction:

  • Packed box with flexible graphite packing
  • Single or dual mechanical seal

Sealing configurations available for enclosed lineshaft construction:

  • Enclosing tube tension assembly for oil lubrication
  • Water injection packing assembly
  • Discharge flanges can be above or below ground

Multiple driver options:

  • Electric motors for solid or hollow shaft
  • Engines with right angle gear drives
  • Steam turbines
  • Axial thrust bearing assembly is separate
  • Latest edition configurations are available in Standard and ISO 13709/API 610 (VS1)
